Fullstack Developer for Inhouse Project

ALTEN Gothenburg is now looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our in-house development department, Alten Application Development Studio (AADS). Here we design, develop, and maintain applications for a variety of clients, taking full responsibility for the entire development lifecycle. This requires you to be independent, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of the delivery process.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with solid experience in backend development using Java and Spring. Experience with frontend development in React is a plus but not a requirement – what matters most is your willingness to work across the stack and your strong understanding of software architecture and development principles.

In this role, you will work in a tight team where we value best practices and strive for simple and coherent solutions. You will be involved in the entire development process – from requirements gathering and design to implementation and deployment. Since the role involves client collaboration, we highly value strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical solutions clearly.

Key Competences:

• Extensive experience in backend development with Java and Spring (Spring Boot, Spring Security, etc.).
• Experience with frontend development in TypeScript and React is valued but not required. Understanding of Functional Principles is appreciated.
• Strong understanding of web-based systems, RESTful APIs, and software architecture.
• Experience with DevOps principles such as CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure automation is a plus.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Swedish is beneficial but not mandatory.
