Business Controller & Analyst - ALTEN Gothenburg

Your Role

As a Business Controller & Analyst at ALTEN, you will play a key role in analyzing and optimizing business performance. You will work closely with various departments, including Finance and HR, to provide high-quality insights that drive strategic decision-making.

This is a one-year position with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational reports, as well as ad-hoc analyses upon request
• Monitor and optimize company performance by analyzing key operational indicators (KPIs) and business metrics
• Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards in Excel and Power BI
• Create data-driven insights and visual reports for top management
• Strengthen synergies with the finance department by developing accurate and reliable financial reports
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, recruitment, and other key business areas
• Deliver high-quality reports and analyses to support critical business reviews and management meetings

Who You Are

We are looking for a highly motivated and structured individual with a strong passion for business analysis and controlling. To succeed in this role, you should have:

A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field

• 2–3 years of experience in business/operational controlling, financial analysis, or a similar role
• Advanced skills in Excel and experience with Power BI or other BI tools
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
• Fluency in English (Swedish is a plus)
• A proactive and self-driven attitude with strong attention to detail
