We're seeking talented individuals with expertise in HIL design, development and commissioning. If you have solid experience with dSpace or Vector HIL rigs, we'd love to hear from you. Our teams of engineers work closely with local OEMs in Gothenburg. Therefore as HIL design engineer at ALTEN, you will work closely with architects, developers, and other testers – a dynamic environment conducive for your career development. 

 

ALTEN’s automotive division works with several automotive OEMs and suppliers. In Gothenburg, Sweden, we have an automotive hub working with many exciting projects; here you will have the opportunity to design and build HIL setups for testing of state-of-art automotive systems.

Your profile 

To excel in this role, we see that you have a relevant technical education e.g. a M.Sc. or a B.Sc. within Electrical/Embedded Systems, Electronics, Physics, Mechatronics, Software Engineering or similar. 

Moreover, we see that you have: 

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in HIL design, development and commissioning 
  • Working experience with either dSpace or Vector HIL benches 
  • Knowledge in vehicle communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Flexray and/or Ethernet 
  • Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively 

Meritorious experience: 

  • Working experience with Vector tools (vTestStudio, CANoe, CANalyzer etc.) 
  • Working experience with dSpace tools (Scalexio, ConfigurationDesk, ControlDesk, AutomationDesk) 
  • Scripting skills in CAPL, Python and/or Matlab & Simulink 
  • Requirement management tools (DOORS, Polarion, SystemWeaver etc.) 
  • ECU signaling and automotive electrical systems 
  • Swedish driver’s license
