Sustainability is at the core of everything we do at Billerud, reflecting in our actions, thoughts, and the choices we make. For the summer of 2025, we are seeking individuals interested in a summer job as a Sustainability Specialist. While there is no fixed duration for this position, it is desirable for it to start in mid-June 2025 and last for approximately 8 weeks.

As a Sustainability Specialist, you will work closely with our EVP for Sustainability. This position is based at our headquarters in Solna/Stockholm, closely located to the Mall of Scandinavia.

Job Description

In your summer job as a Sustainability Specialist, you will have the opportunity to apply your existing knowledge in sustainability while being encouraged to challenge us and our processes. You will work closely with various functions at Billerud, such as Public Affairs, Corporate Brand, and our mills, providing you with ample opportunities to quickly familiarize yourself with Billerud as a company and the packaging- and paper industry.

In this role, you could for example be part of:

• Support in reporting sustainability data internally and for certain sustainability index such as CDP, Dow Jones, EcoVadis
• Review and develop sustainability materials for internal and external communication.
• Review and develop sustainability materials for our customer service.

 To succeed in this position, we believe you have:

• Ongoing or finished university education with a focus on sustainability and satisfactory grades.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Experience in reporting or similar administrative roles is advantageous for this position.

For us, personality is very important. To thrive in the summer job as a Sustainability Specialist, we look for individuals with a strong interest in sustainability reporting. You should have the ability to independently plan and complete tasks, be communicative, and comfortable seeking information and connections within Billerud as needed for your work. Given the nature of reporting and material development, analytical, structured, and detail-oriented individuals are preferred.
